JACK WOLFSKIN TV commercial music by THE WALKABOUTS
The Walkabouts from Seattle already played "Americana" (then known as modern folk rock) long before this term had been invented. Back in the eighties they were outsiders on the grunge cult label, Sub Pop and since then they have gone their own way unperturbed.
They have reinvented themselves many times, but remained true to themselves - be it when they suddenly had a genuine radio hit (The Light Will Stay On) and became a chart band, or with their return to glitterhouse a few years ago. The most recent product from this long journey appeared in August 2005.
The new album Acytelene totally rocks, contains angry songs from smart people, and also features many wonderful trademark ballads from the Walkabouts. Acytelene entered the Top 100 Album Charts at number 87.
Also featured in the current JACK WOLFSKIN TV commercial is the single Devil In The Details, which already rocked TV productions in the previous winter and summer commercials - this time as a cover version.
