Der Bericht des UBA weist darauf hin, dass die Risiken der Nanotechnologie noch nicht erforscht sind. Besonders problematisch erscheinen Nanopartikel in Kosmetika und Nahrungsmittel. Im Bekleidungsbereich gibt es Studien aus USA und Schweden, die zeigen, dass sich Silber-Nanopartikel beim Waschen der Kleidung lösen können und ins Abwasser gelangen.

Das UBA hat selbst Abriebverhalten an Textilien mit Titandioxid-Nanopartikeln getestet und festgestellt, dass keine Nanopartikel freigesetzt werden. Beide Untersuchungen beziehen sich aber nicht auf die NANO-TEX-Technologie die wir anwenden. Daher gibt es allgemeine Hinweise auf Gefahren aus Kleidung mit Nanotechnologie, aber keine auf die der Fluorcarbon-Technologie von NANO-TEX.

The report by the UBA points out that the risks posed by nanotechnology have not yet been researched.Nanoparticles in cosmetics and foodstuffs appear to be particularly problematic. In the field of clothing, studies in the USA and Sweden have shown that nanoparticles of silver can come loose when the clothing is washed and can get into the waste water.

The UBA itself tested the abrasion characteristics of textiles with nanoparticles of titanium dioxide and noted that no nanoparticles were released.However, neither of these investigations involved the NANO-TEX technology that we use. There are therefore general references to risks caused by clothing with nanotechnology, but none regarding the fluorocarbon technology in NANO-TEX.

Le rapport de l'UBA indique que les risques des nanotechnologies n'ont pas encore été étudiés. Les nanoparticules utilisées dans les cosmétiques et les aliments apparaissent comme particulièrement problématiques. Dans le domaine de l'habillement, des études américaines et suédoises montrent que les nanoparticules d'argent peuvent se détacher des vêtements pendant le lavage et ainsi se retrouver dans les eaux usées.

L'UBA a lui-même testé le comportement au frottement de textiles contenant des nanoparticules de dioxyde de titane et constaté qu'aucune nanoparticule n'était libérée. Les deux études ne portent toutefois pas sur la technologie NANO-TEX que nous utilisons. Il existe ainsi des indications d'ordre général concernant les dangers liés aux vêtements à nanotechnologie, mais aucune portant en particulier sur la technologie au fluorocarbure du NANO-TEX.

Z raportu niemieckiego urzędu ds. ochrony środowiska wynika, że zagrożenia stwarzane przez nanotechnologię jeszcze nie zostały zbadane. Nanocząstki mogą powodować najwięcej problemów w kosmetykach i artykułach spożywczych. W odniesieniu do odzieży w USA i w Szwecji przeprowadzono badania, z których wynika, że podczas prania nanocząstki srebra mogą się uwalniać z odzieży i przedostawać do ścieków.

Niemiecki urząd ds. ochrony środowiska przetestował ścieralność tekstyliów z nanocząstkami dwutlenku tytanu i stwierdził, że nie są one uwalniane. Oba badania nie odnoszą się jednak do technologii NANO-TEX, którą stosujemy w naszych produktach. Wynika z tego, że są dostępne ogólne informacje o zagrożeniach stwarzanych przez odzież wyprodukowaną z wykorzystaniem nanotechnologii, jednak nie ma badań dotyczących technologii fluoropochodnych węglowodoru NANO-TEX.
