Was weiß man über die Risiken der Nanotechnologie?
Die Auswirkungen der unterschiedlichsten Nanopartikel auf Mensch und Umwelt sind noch nicht hinlänglich erforscht. In einer Risikostudie, die im Oktober 2009 veröffentlicht wurde, weist das Deutsche Umweltbundesamt (UBA) auf verschiedene offene Fragen und Risiken im Zusammenhang mit der neuen Technologie hin.
In den meisten Aussagen geht es um freie Nanopartikel und deren Auswirkungen. Gleichzeitig wird festgestellt, dass es keinen Überblick über die verschiedenen Nano-Technologien gibt. Forderungen an die Hersteller sind, Nanoprodukte zu deklarieren und zur Risikountersuchung beizutragen.

What is known about the risks of nanotechnology?
The effects of the most diverse nanoparticles on humans and the environment have not yet been adequately researched. In a risk study published in October 2009, the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) refers to various unresolved issues and risks in connection with the new technology.
Most reports deal with free nanoparticles and their effects. It is also established that there is no overview of the various nanotechnologies. Manufacturers are being called on to declare nanoproducts and to contribute to the investigation of risks.

Que sait-on des risques induits par les nanotechnologies ?
Les effets des différentes nanoparticules sur l'homme et sur l'environnement ne sont pas encore suffisamment étudiés. Dans une étude de risques publiée en octobre 2009, l'Office fédéral allemand de l'environnement (UBA) pointe diverses questions ouvertes ainsi que les risques liés à cette nouvelle technologie.
Dans la plupart des déclarations, il est question des nanoparticules libres et de leurs effets. En même temps, on peut constater qu'il n'existe pas de vue d'ensemble des différentes nanotechnologies. Les fabricants sont appelés à déclarer leurs nanoproduits et à contribuer à la recherche sur les risques.

Co wiadomo na temat zagrożeń związanych z nanotechnologią?
Oddziaływanie najróżniejszych nanocząstek na człowieka i środowisko jeszcze nie zostało dostatecznie zbadane. W ramach Studium zagrożeń, opublikowanego w październiku 2009 roku, niemiecki urząd ds. ochrony środowiska (Umweltbundesamt – UBA) wskazuje różne otwarte pytania i zagrożenia związane z nową technologią.
Większość zagadnień dotyczy wolnych nanocząstek i ich oddziaływania. Jednocześnie stwierdzono, że nie jest dostępy żaden ogólny przegląd różnych nanotechnologii. Względem producentów wysuwa się żądania, aby deklarowali oni stosowanie nanoproduktów i wnosili swój wkład w badania nad związanymi z tym zagrożeniami.
