In basketball, the term “rebound” means catching the ball after a failed attempt to make a basket – a symbol that represents the work done with child soldiers and young adults who up to now have only experienced war and violence. They need someone who can catch them and give them a second chance. Jack Wolfskin, World Vision and Wolfgang Niedecken have been supporting this cause together for some years now. Rebound projects in Uganda have allowed us to help many children affected by war there. Many private individuals have also made a contribution through donations.
The situation in Uganda has improved over time and the Rebound project has had the chance to develop.
