PRODUCERS

We are aware of our responsibility to our producers and, above all, to their employees who manufacture our products day after day and dedicate ourselves to this task out of conviction and with commitment.

Jack Wolfskin has maintained a close relationship with a large number of its suppliers and producers for decades because we have taken our corporate responsibility very seriously from the beginning and understood it to be a continuous task that will never come to an end. As such, we have already done a lot in the past to ensure decent production conditions at our supplier companies.
Since the beginning of 2008, a department established specifically for this purpose has also taken responsibility for long-term supplier development. Our objective also in the future is to establish and maintain supplier relationships for the long-term and to further strengthen them through reciprocal support.

In addition, we have engaged a competent independent consulting firm to conduct all audits and training in close collaboration with us in our production facilities.

Through years of experience in the area of corporate responsibility and collaboration with other interest groups such as unions in the production countries or support of production facilities in implementing the required standards, the company is a valuable partner for Jack Wolfskin.

Additionally, on 1 July 2010, Jack Wolfskin became an official member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). The FWF is a multi-stakeholder initiative that aims to create and promote humane labour conditions along the entire value chain of the textiles industry. The FWF works with companies that want to take responsibility for their value chain and supports them with, among other things, the exchange of expert knowledge, dialogue and an improvement-orientated approach.
