Soft Asylum Jacket Soft Asylum Jacket

In August, the team behind the Internet site “der-outdoor-tester.de” put the Soft Asylum jacket from Jack Wolfskin to the test. The team was won over right from the start: “Thanks to the Nanuk 200 Silkloft material, the Soft Asylum fleece jacket from Jack Wolfskin is silky smooth. You can feel just how cuddly and warm it is when you first put it on.” The team was particularly impressed with the jacket’s short drying time, the strong zigzag seams as well as its large front zip fastener and awarded it five stars out of five.

SUMMARY:

“The Soft Asylum is a lightweight fleece jacket that can also be folded up relatively compactly. It proved to be an indispensable piece of kit for our team during Alpencross when, at 3,000 metres, the temperature suddenly plummeted. Jack Wolfskin’s Soft Asylum jacket proved to be our saviour in these freezing temperatures. It offers an outstanding heat-weight ratio while the 200 Nanuk fleece is extremely soft to the touch.
