Here's how it works

1. Purchase the waterproofing service

In-store: Hand the product you'd like waterproofed to a member of staff at your Jack Wolfskin store.

Online: Order the waterproofing service directly online through our partner MeyerundKuhl.

2. Send off your product

In-store: Your Jack Wolfskin store will send the product off for waterproofing on your behalf.

Online: Create your shipping label for the waterproofing service as described, print it out, and send your product securely packaged (via DHL) for waterproofing.

3. Your product gets waterproofed

Your weatherproof clothing is professionally washed and re-proofed.

4. Your waterproofed product is back!

After two weeks, your freshly waterproofed weatherproof clothing will arrive at your home or your Jack Wolfskin store, ready for new adventures.

Washing: Dirt and sweat can affect the breathability and waterproofness of functional clothing. That's why it's important to wash it correctly and regularly. As a rule of thumb: roughly every 3–4 months under normal use.

Waterproofing: The outer fabric of our weatherproof clothing comes with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish when new, so that water and dirt simply bead off. This finish wears off with wear and washing, so it should be renewed – using the right method for the material – after around 3–4 washes.
