Waterproof or Water-Resistant?

TEXAPORE is a fully waterproof membrane with a minimum hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. It keeps you dry in sustained rain and is the right choice for exposed conditions, winter commuting or mountain use. TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE versions are made from 100% recycled materials without compromising on waterproof performance.
TEXASHIELD and PERTEX QUANTUM are water-resistant outer fabrics - effective in light rain and drizzle, lighter and more breathable than a full membrane, but not suited to prolonged downpours. The right choice for active outdoor use in drier or more variable conditions.
