We repair your clothing
and gear

In our repair workshop in Neu Wulmstorf, 23 dedicated team members fix pretty much anything that can be fixed. This includes zips, poppers and hook-and-loop fasteners. We also re-seal waterproof seams, and repair self-inflicted damage such as holes, tears or burn marks at cost price. If sleeves or trouser legs are too short or too long, we can adjust those too.

Frequently asked questions

Got questions? We've got answers.

Still have questions about your repair? Here's everything you need to know.

What costs can I expect when using the repair service?

Under the statutory warranty – two years from the date of purchase, in the case of material or manufacturing defects – repairs are free of charge. If the damage was self-inflicted, or if the item was bought more than two years ago, repairs will be charged according to a price list. Any costs involved will be discussed with you before the repair goes ahead.

What repairs does Jack Wolfskin carry out?

As a rule, we do our best to repair anything that can be repaired. This includes zips, poppers and hook-and-loop fasteners, among other things. We also re-seal waterproof seams that can't easily be repaired at home or by a regular tailor.

We also repair self-inflicted damage such as holes, tears or burn marks, charged at cost price. If sleeves or trouser legs are too long, these can also be sent in for adjustment.

What do I need to bear in mind when sending in my damaged item?

Please only send in clothing that has been washed, or – in the case of footwear or equipment – thoroughly cleaned. This isn't just out of respect for the team members handling it every day, but also because re-sealing waterproof seams requires a clean surface to work with.

Only send in items that are completely dry, as this could otherwise lead to mould forming inside the sealed parcel.

Please include a description of the fault (type and location) with your parcel.

So we know who to send the repaired item back to, even if the packaging gets damaged in transit, please also include your address and email inside the parcel. This also means we can get in touch quickly should we have any questions about your repair request.

If you're sending your item directly to us, please make sure it's sufficiently stamped, as we're unable to accept parcels sent without adequate postage. Alternatively, you're welcome to drop the product off at the specialist retailer where you bought it, or at a Jack Wolfskin store of your choice.

If you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch by email at service@jack-wolfskin.com.

Are zips, buttons and other small parts covered under the warranty?

Yes. If you have a claim of this kind, your nearest store or retailer will be able to help. They'll decide whether a repair can be carried out on the spot or whether the item needs to be sent in. For spare part enquiries relating to an online order, our service team is happy to help at service@jack-wolfskin.com.

Can I reorder spare parts or repair materials?

Yes, that's possible. Our stores and local retailers are happy to help and will arrange for the relevant spare parts or repair materials to be ordered. For spare part enquiries relating to an online order, our service team is happy to help at service@jack-wolfskin.com.

Who do I contact if I have a complaint or repair request for an online order?
