What else you should know
Every event follows the same beginner-friendly concept: guided or self-guided multi-day long-distance hikes, a one-day basecamp event, organised overnight accommodation, and an open, supportive community – all shaped around the landscape and terrain of the region.
Every event stands on its own. You don't need any prior experience or previous participation – just the motivation to try long-distance hiking for the first time.
Over three to four days, you'll hike 35–105 km at your own pace – alone or alongside experienced guides – with organised overnight accommodation and a community moving forward together. Whether you're completely new to long-distance hiking or simply curious: this experience takes away the pressure and replaces it with guidance, comfort and inspiration.
You don't have to carry everything on your back.
You don't need years of experience.
All you need is the curiosity to get started.
Basecamp comfort
& community
After a long day on the trail, the full recovery programme awaits you on day four:
Sauna & hot tub: Relax your muscles and let your mind unwind.
Full catering: Freshly prepared food to fuel you back up.
Physio support: Professional recovery for tired hiking legs.
Evening campfire: Share stories with the community.
Real gear testing
& workshops
Long-distance hiking made simple. We don't just hand you the gear – we show you how to get the most out of it:
Real gear testing: Try out high-end long-distance gear from Jack Wolfskin under real conditions – right there on the trail.
Camp-ready: In the evenings, you'll pitch the tent we provide and prepare the food we've supplied.
Workshops & mentoring: Experienced guides show you, in hands-on sessions and side quests, how to keep moving safely and independently.
Why take part?
Because long-distance hiking isn't about being extreme.
It's about discovering how far you can go – with the right support behind you.
This is your chance to experience thru-hiking in a way that's safe, motivating and inspiring – and maybe even discover a new passion that stays with you long after the last kilometre.
We help you keep going.
