BASE CAMP DOME

The BASE CAMP DOME is a spacious expedition tent, which is engineered to withstand any weather and can accommodate up to ten people with all their kit.

With an advanced geodesic design, the tent is extremely stable in stormy weather and capable of withstanding snow loading. The high tenacity ripstop flysheet fabric, heavy duty aluminium poles and twelve guylines ensure exceptional pitch stability.

In spite of its very large size, the tent is quick and easy to pitch. The flysheet simply clips onto the external pole framework. The two inner tents are hung separately within the flysheet and can be arranged in four different positions. The groundsheet can be removed entirely.

The tent has a total of four entrances and eight air vents. Small items can be stashed in the 24 internal storage pockets.

WARNING: KEEP ALL FLAMES AND HEAT SOURCES AWAY FROM THIS TENT FABRIC The following precautions should be taken when camping: This tent is made of flame-resistant fabric. It is not fireproof. The fabric will burn if left in continuous contact with a flame source. b. Do not use candles, matches or open flames of any kind in or near a tent. c. Do not cook inside a tent. d. Build campfires downwind and several meters away from a tent and be sure to fully extinguish campfires before leaving a campsite or before retiring for the night. e. Exercise extreme caution when using fuel-powered lanterns or heaters inside a tent and use battery-operated lanterns whenever possible. Always ensure adequate ventilation to avoid risk of suffocation from carbon monoxide poisoning when fuel powered lanterns or heaters are used. f. Do not refuel lanterns, heaters or stoves inside a tent. g. Extinguish or turn off all lanterns before going to sleep. h. Do not smoke in a tent. i. Do not store flammable liquids inside a tent. j. CAUTION: Keep all tent openings clear to allow occupants immediate egress in the event of a fire.
