The Rügen Wolf Trail combines a real physical challenge with an incredibly varied landscape. Over three days, the route covers 93 kilometres along the coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The trail starts in Schaprode. From there, it leads via Cape Arkona and the fishing village of Vitt along the striking chalk coastline to the famous Königsstuhl in Jasmund National Park. The route then continues from Sassnitz via Prora to the pier in Binz. Ancient beech forests, steep cliffs and firm coastal paths define the trail profile far more than deep sand does.

Averaging around 30 kilometres a day, this route is physically demanding. The distance calls for solid base endurance and experience with longer daily stages. This event isn't suitable for those without hiking experience, or without training for consecutive 25–30 km stages.

Jack Wolfskin is responsible for the concept and delivery of the event, drawing on extensive experience in outdoor product development, community hikes and long-distance formats.

Group size is limited to 50 participants. Within the group, 25 places are available for those wishing to complete the hike with a guide, and 25 places for participants hiking the trail unguided.

This event is suitable for: experienced hikers with excellent base fitness, those able to cover 25–30 km on multiple consecutive days, and anyone looking to gain their first experience of thru-hiking in a structured setting.
