Falk von Göler

Extremely long-distance hiker, adventurer, voice of a new thru-hiking generation

From Sindelfingen to Istanbul – this is Falk, the next-generation explorer. When he was only 20, he had already done exceptional trails: he hiked 3,500 kilometres from Germany to Turkey, spent six weeks hiking through Brazil – self-sufficient, on the road for months, step by step through diverse landscapes and cultures.

Falk stands for radical simplicity and grand visions. His journeys show how a normal young man from southern Germany can become an endurance hiker, provided one has the courage to set off. He documents his adventures on Instagram in a direct, plain and simple manner, inspiring a growing community to redefine their own limits.

No matter whether his trails take him through European forests, mountains in the Balkan states or somewhere tropical: Falk does not look for the shortest route, but rather the most intense one. He has a clear mission – to show that real adventure does not simply begin somewhere, it starts by making the decision to take the first step.
