The Siegen Wolf Trail combines athletic challenge with the diverse natural landscapes of the Siegerland region. Over four days, the route stretches approximately 75 kilometers through the forests and rolling hills of the Rothaar Mountains. The event begins with a shuttle transfer from Siegen to the starting point near Schanze.

From there, the first stage leads through extensive high forest landscapes to the Rhein-Weser Tower, one of the best-known viewpoints along the Rothaar ridge. The trail then continues towards the historic Ginsburg. Quiet forest paths and open ridgelines with wide views across the surrounding hills characterize this section.

The following stage passes through remote forest areas to the Lahn Spring, the source of the River Lahn. The final stage leads across the heights of the Siegerland region towards Tiefenrother Höhe near Wilgersdorf. Along the route, forest trails, gentle hills, and scenic panoramic sections alternate, creating a varied and diverse trail profile.

With daily distances ranging from approximately 15 to 24 kilometers and a total elevation gain of around 1,500 meters, the trail requires a good level of physical fitness. Solid endurance and experience with longer hiking days are therefore necessary. The event is not suitable for individuals without hiking experience or without preparation for several consecutive long-distance stages.

This multi-day hike is organized by Jack Wolfskin together with local partners and supported by selected outdoor and mobility partners. Jack Wolfskin is responsible for both the concept and execution of the event and brings extensive experience from outdoor product development, community hikes, and long-distance trail formats.

The number of participants is limited to 50, creating an intensive shared trail experience over the four days. The event is designed for hikers with very good basic fitness, for those who can comfortably cover distances of 15–25 kilometers on consecutive days, and for anyone looking to experience a multi-day long-distance hiking adventure in the low mountain landscapes of western Germany.
