Connect, explore, and make new friends

At Jack Wolfskin, the outdoors is about people as much as it is about gear. That’s why we partner with local outdoor clubs across Europe — from Germany to Switzerland and Austria.

We work with these clubs not only to grow brand awareness but to genuinely support their communities. By providing gear, enabling them to host their own events, and participating in their activities, we help create memorable outdoor experiences that members directly associate with our brand. This strengthens both the local community and our relationship with it, building trust and inspiring people to get outside.

These clubs bring people together through local hikes, runs, and events, giving you the chance to meet like-minded adventurers, make new friends, and try new experiences. Whether you’re exploring a trail for the first time, joining a run, or returning to a familiar route, these communities make it easy to connect and share your love for the outdoors.

If you live near one of these clubs, it’s a perfect opportunity to dive deeper into your local outdoor community, discover new trails, and enjoy hiking and running with friends old and new.

Hiking Buddies

Germany/Switzerland

‘Since 2014, Hiking Buddies has connected thousands of mountain lovers across Munich and Switzerland. Operating on a purely voluntary and free basis, we make the Alps accessible through member-led hikes, via ferratas, and ski tours.

Our community is built on more than just altitude. We keep the spirit alive between peaks through regular social events like dinner nights and picnics, ensuring that "Buddies" stay connected year-round. From first-time hikers to seasoned alpinists, we are a grassroots movement dedicated to shared experiences—on the mountain and in the city.’
