The Rügen Wolf Trail combines physical challenge with scenic diversity. Over three days, the route covers 93 kilometers along one of Germany’s most distinctive coastlines.

Starting in Schaprode, the trail leads via Cape Arkona and the fishing village of Vitt along the famous chalk cliffs to the iconic Königsstuhl in Jasmund National Park. From Sassnitz, the route continues via Prora to the pier in Binz. Ancient beech forests, steep coastal cliffs and firm coastal paths define the terrain more than deep sand sections.

With an average of around 30 kilometers per day, this route is physically demanding. The daily distance requires strong base endurance and experience with long consecutive stages. This event is not suitable for hikers without prior training for 25–30 km stages on multiple days.

The hike is organized by Jack Wolfskin in cooperation with ASI Reisen and supported by Ford, Outdooractive, Petzl and Clausthaler Alkohlfrei.

Jack Wolfskin is responsible for concept and execution, drawing on extensive experience in outdoor product development and long-distance community hiking formats.

Participation is limited to 50 hikers. Within the group, there are 25 places for participants who complete the hike with a guide and 25 places for participants who hike the trail without a guide.

This event is suitable for: experienced hikers with very solid endurance, participants capable of completing 25–30 km stages on consecutive days and those who want to experience long-distance hiking in Germany within a professionally organized framework.
